If you find yourself in Japan jonesing for a Godzilla siting, check out the monster mummies at Zengyōji (善行寺) temple in the city of Kanazawa. "Lurking the halls of Buddhist temples and museums across Japan are a host of monster mummies — the preserved remains of demons, mermaids, kappa, tengu, raijū, and even human monks." Then again if that's too far for you, go visit the California Institute for Abnormalities (CIA, isn't that cute?). They've got mummies of their own as well as a picked clown from the 1920s.
